This acquisition secures Rampart’s supply chain for a critical component in its shielding systems and strengthens the company’s ability to meet rising global demand for safer, lead-free radiation protection.

By bringing ClearShield’s bi-acrylic technology in-house, Rampart advances its mission to eliminate the need for lead aprons in interventional medicine while maintaining clinical performance and workflow efficiency. Validated through multiple clinical studies and used in hundreds of installations worldwide, the combined solution offers whole-body protection to interventional teams and positions Rampart to lead the charge in radiation safety innovation. Beyond healthcare, ClearShield’s materials are also used in high-radiation environments such as nuclear, defense, and research facilities.
