The L148 is a lead-free Table-Mounted Shield is a system that includes abdominal shields and soft shielding curtains that provide lead equivalencies of 1mm and 0.5mm, respectively. The L148 Multi-Purpose Shield, available separately, is an auxiliary shield with 0.5mm lead equivalency designed for versatile positioning around the patient to offer more attenuation as needed to protect both physicians and team members.

Easy Assembly and Durability
The L148 Table-Mounted Shield mounts to the procedure table by simply sliding the curtain bars onto the accessory rail. The curtain panels come pre-attached to the curtain bars, which bear the system’s weight to prevent sagging of the curtains at the extreme ends. The abdominal shields easily clip onto the curtain bars.
Hazard Free Disposal
Because the soft shield curtains come into contact with both the table and patient, over time natural wear and tear will require the curtains to be disposed of and replaced. However, no special precautions need to be taken with disposal, because our soft shielding contains no lead.
